THE Kingdom Impact Conference took place on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at His Kingdom House Assembly in Ogo Oluwa, Osogbo, Osun State, bringing together ministers and church workers. The event kicked off at 7:30am with an opening prayer, followed by praise and worship.
The first teaching session, “Understanding Calling and Election into Ministry,” was led by Pastor (Prof.) F.O. Olaoye, the Senior Pastor of His kingdom House Assembly and the Convener of the meeting. He emphasized that a calling into ministry is sacred and must originate from God, who is interested in doing His work through individuals. Olaoye supported his points with biblical references.
The second session, “Time For Ministers To Recover The Gospel And Its Power We Lost,” was led by Pastor (Engr.) Enwerem Godwin. He posed four questions: What was lost, when, where, and how? Godwin answered these questions, stating that the gospel of the kingdom, the presence of the King, and discipleship ministry were lost.
He cited biblical examples, including Prophet Eli, the prophet from Judah, and Apostle Peter, and referenced verses like Matt 4:23, Matt 6:23, Romans 14:17, and 1 Cor. 4:20.
Rev Iyiola Olalekan from Christ Resurrection Power Assembly, CREPA led the third session, “The Discipline Required of a Man of God for Effective Ministry.” He defined ministry as a department or office for fulfilling divine assignments, emphasizing that it involves serving others to find God and life fulfillment. Olalekan stressed that faith, helping one another, and supporting each other are essential components of ministry.
He highlighted that no ministry is more important than the other, rather, it’s a division of labor and responsibility to achieve a common divine goal. Discipline is key to achieving greatness in life and ministry, Olalekan emphasized, citing biblical verses: 1 Tim 1:12, Eph 4:15, 1 Cor 12:27-30, and Rom 12:4-8.
The fourth session, “Who is a Faith Worker in the Church,” was led by Pastor (Dr.) James Atanda of the Household of Faith Ministry, Owode Ede. He warned that “noise” can be a false distraction from truly seeking God, and that faith is an action, not just a feeling. Atanda stated that without faith, one cannot be disciplined, and anything done outside of Jesus’ name is heresy. He also cautioned that materialism can kill faith, referencing Luke 10.
Atanda outlined the benefits and principles of faith, saying it’s what takes us back to God. He supported his points with biblical verses: John 21, Hebrew 6:12, and Eph 6:11.
Pastor F.O. Olaoye delivered the final teaching session, “Defining Loyalty in Calling and Election,” emphasizing the importance of loyalty in ministry. He defined loyalty as adherence, allegiance, attachment, bond, patriotism, sincerity, and single-mindedness, citing Philippians 2:19-23.
Olaoye highlighted 10 characteristics of a loyal helper, including:
Servant Attitude: A willingness to serve others
Loyal Church Workers: Committed to the church’s mission
Mind of the Boss: Understanding the leader’s vision
Loyalty as DNA: Integrity and commitment
Handy and Trustworthy: Reliable and dependable
Focus on the Boss: Prioritizing the leader’s goals
Honesty and Transparency: Bearing witness to the master
Spiritual Service: Serving with spiritual focus
Reporting and Accountability: Giving account of one’s actions.
He also warned against signs of disloyalty, referencing Luke 22:2, Acts 1:16, John 7:16, and 2 Tim 2:1-2:
Opposition and Wounding: Allowing opposition to harm the church or pastor
Self-Promotion: Using church downtime to stage a takeover
Prioritizing Personal Needs: Putting own comfort above church projects
-Capitalizing on Weakness: Exploiting the pastor’s weakness for personal benefit
Unteaching the Pastor: Contradicting or undermining the leader’s teachings.
Olaoye’s session stressed the importance of loyalty and commitment in ministry, encouraging workers to prioritize their leader’s vision and goals. It was indeed a time of refreshing for the ministers and church workers that were present in the conference.
