INTRODUCTION
Everyone has a struggle. But God never leaves us in the struggle. Struggle is a season. Glory is a destination.
Psalm 30:5 — “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
God specializes in turning ashes to beauty, pain to purpose, and struggle to glory.

1: WHY DO WE STRUGGLE?
1. Because of Life in a Fallen World – John 16:33
“In the world ye shall have tribulation…” Trials are part of life.
2. Because of Process and Preparation – James 1:3-4
God uses pressure to produce patience and maturity in us.
3. Because of the Enemy’s Attack – 1 Peter 5:8
The devil fights what God wants to promote.
4. Because of Divine Promotion – Genesis 41:14
Joseph was in prison, then he was in the palace in one day. Struggle often comes right before breakthrough.
Truth: Struggle does not mean God has abandoned you. It means glory is coming.
2: GOD’S PURPOSE IN THE STRUGGLE
1. To Strengthen You – 1 Peter 5:10
“But the God of all grace… after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” God is building muscle in your spirit.
2. To Reveal His Glory – John 11:4
“This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God.” Your testimony will point people to Jesus.
3. To Produce Glory in You – 2 Corinthians 4:17
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” What you’re going through is producing something eternal.
4. To Bring You To Dependence – 2 Corinthians 12:9
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. In the struggle, you learn to lean on God.
3: HOW TO MOVE FROM STRUGGLE TO GLORY
1. Don’t Waste the Season — Pray – Psalm 50:15
“Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Talk to God. He hears.
2. Don’t Lose Faith — Trust God’s Timing – Ecclesiastes 3:11
God makes all things beautiful in His time. Joseph waited 13 years, then one day changed everything.
3. Don’t Quit — Stay in God’s Word – Romans 8:28
“All things work together for good to them that love God…” God is working behind the scenes.
4. Don’t Forget to Praise – Acts 16:25-26
Paul and Silas praised in prison, and the chains broke. Praise is a weapon that turns struggle to glory.
BIBLICAL EXAMPLES: FROM STRUGGLE TO GLORY
1. Joseph – Genesis 37 to 41
From pit → prison → palace. God turned betrayal to promotion.
2. Job – Job 1 to Job 42:10
From loss → restoration. “The LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.”
3. David – 1 Samuel 17 to 2 Samuel 2
From shepherd boy → king. The cave season produced the crown.
4. Hannah – 1 Samuel 1 to 1 Samuel 2:1
From barrenness and mockery → to Samuel and a song of praise.
5. Jesus – Philippians 2:8-9
From the cross → to the crown. “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him.”
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
In Jesus’ name, I decree:
1. Your night of weeping is over. Your morning of joy has come.
2. Every struggle in your life, family, and work is turning to glory.
3. God will turn your test into a testimony.
4. What the enemy meant for evil, God will turn for your good – Genesis 50:20
5. You will not die in the struggle. You will come out in glory!
CONCLUSION
Child of God, don’t despise the struggle.
The same God who brought Joseph out, brought Job out, and brought Jesus out of the grave — will bring you out.
Romans 8:18 — “The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Your struggle has an expiry date. Your glory has no end.
