Anchor Scripture: Isaiah 60:1
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”

INTRODUCTION
To “shine” means to glow, to be visible, to stand out, to reflect light.
Darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people. – Isaiah 60:2
But God is saying to someone: “Your season of hiding is over. It’s your time to shine.”
Shining is not pride. It’s manifestation. It’s when God’s glory on your life becomes visible for the world to see so they can glorify God. – Matthew 5:16

1: WHAT DOES “IT’S MY TIME TO SHINE” MEAN?
1. It means Glory is Risen Upon You – Isaiah 60:1
God’s glory is not just on you in secret anymore. It’s rising. People will see it.
2. It means You Are Becoming a Light to the World – Matthew 5:14
“Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.”
Your job, business, character, and testimony will draw people to God.
3. It means Your Season of Manifestation Has Come – Romans 8:19
“Creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
What God has been doing in secret is about to be seen in public.
4. It means You Will Lead Others to Righteousness – Daniel 12:3
“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
2: WHAT HAS BEEN HIDING YOUR LIGHT?
1. Fear and Low Self-Esteem – Judges 6:15
Gideon saw himself as the least. But God called him a mighty man of valor.
2. Shame and Reproach* – Isaiah 54:4
“Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed.” God is turning your reproach to honour.
3. Delay and Discouragement – Habakkuk 2:3
The vision is for an appointed time. Your appointed time is now.
4. Sin and Compromise – Psalm 66:18
Sin puts a covering over glory. Repentance removes it.
3: HOW TO WALK IN YOUR SHINING SEASON
1. Arise – Isaiah 60:1
Shining starts with a decision. Stop sleeping. Wake up to prayer, to purpose, to God.
2. Stay Connected to the Source of Light – John 8:12
“I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness.”
Without Jesus, you’ll burn out. With Him, you shine brighter.
3. Let Your Light Be Seen Through Good Works – Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father.”
Shine with excellence, integrity, and love.
4. Refuse to Dim Your Light for Anyone – Philippians 2:15
“That ye may be blameless… among whom ye shine as lights in the world.”
Don’t reduce yourself to make others comfortable.
5. Declare It and Believe It – Psalm 37:6
“He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light.”
Say it: *It’s my time to shine!*
BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE WHO SHINED IN THEIR TIME
1. Joseph – Genesis 41:41 From prison to palace. His time to shine came suddenly.
2. Esther – Esther 4:14 “For such a time as this.” She shined and saved a nation.
3. David – 1 Samuel 17 From the bush to killing Goliath. One moment changed everything.
4. Peter – Acts 2:14 From hiding to preaching. 3,000 souls were saved.
5. Jesus – John 1:5 “The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I decree over your life in Jesus’ name:
1. Arise and shine! Your light has come – Isaiah 60:1
2. Every darkness covering your glory, scatter now!
3. The mighty hand of God will lift you to the zenith of greatness.
4. The mercy of God will speak for you and your family in Jesus’ mighty name.
5. You will not be hidden again. You will shine for God’s glory!
CONCLUSION
Child of God, your shining is not for you alone. It’s so that men will see and glorify your Father in heaven. – Matthew 5:16
The same God who made the sun to shine will cause you to shine.
Daniel 12:3 — “They that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars.”
It’s not too late. It’s not too far. It’s YOUR TIME TO SHINE!
Prayer: Father, let Your glory rise upon me. Remove every covering of darkness. Lift me to the place you have ordained for me. Let my life shine and bring you glory. In Jesus’ mighty name,
